Most importantly, you will feel pride and satisfaction in providing a Terrapin student-athlete with a quality education. Annual membership levels begin at $50, or just $25 for recent graduates. For your convenience, a personal checking account can be debited a set amount every month. In many cases, corporate matching gifts may be used to make your Terrapin Club contribution. Please contact your employer to see if you are eligible for a matching gift program. Visit www.terrapinclub.com to learn more and to join.

The M Club was founded in 1923 by a group of former University of Maryland athletes led by Dr. J.C. "Curley" Byrd to encourage excellence in athletics. It is among the oldest and most respected letterwinners clubs in the nation and boasts more than 4,200 former Maryland student-athletes in its ranks. Membership participation, through the payment of annual dues, helps build the scholarship endowment fund, supports student-athletes' awards and recognition efforts and provides for career development initiatives, such as the Maryland Game Plan resume book for graduating seniors. Members receive information about current teams and news about former teammates through a monthly email newsletter and quarterly printed newsletter. The M Club provides former student-athletes the opportunity to continue to be involved in Maryland athletics once their eligibility has expired. There are no better ambassadors for Maryland Athletics than those who have competed wearing the red, white, black and gold. Please visit www.themclub.org to learn more or to join.
Sport-specific fundraising groups provide a tangible and consistent way to focus fan enthusiasm and support into specific initiatives to benefit a particular Maryland sports program. Members of sport-specific fundraising groups include former players, parents of current players, faculty and staff, and fans of the sport. The goals of sport-specific fundraising groups are to: (1) raise money for special projects and services for the program not provided for in the annual athletic department budget; (2) sponsor and conduct activities which foster a positive family atmosphere and spirit; and (3) ensure good communication and exchange of information between the coaching staff and its core group of supporters. All funds earned through sport-specific fundraising groups are managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., for the benefit of the sports program.
